artist statement

Hello my name is RayQuan Blount I was born in Norfolk,VA.  I moved to South Carolina when I was 11 because my mom got stationed here by the Army.  I have to younger brothers named Armando and Jayden.  My background shapes how i see the world because i moved 6 different times since i was younger and ive been to 7 different countries.  this makes me unique because i have seen and been places people dream to go and by going to this places it helps me expand my creativity. my art has feeling and meaning to it and that is why i think people love my art so much. the elements and principles that i heavily use in my art is color,texture,variety,line, and space.
